What is sex? Is sex as simple as a flea bite, as essential as a vegetable, or as precious as India's jewels? To some it may be a "uniting in the living walls of a flea" or "lingering in the walls of one's bedroom". Regardless of what sex is, time plays a significant role in the consecration of it. Just reading or saying the word, sex, demands attention. Sex is one of the most important thing for the human race. Humans rely on sex for reproduction, affection, and pleasure, most of all pleasure. The surprising thing about sex is the amount of responsibility and consequences that it involves.

Speech is the basic vehicle for communication of beliefs, thoughts and ideas therefore this blog is about speaking your mind on any topic what so ever. In order to find truth to anything, one must make multiple suggestions, ask many questions, and sometimes ponder the unspeakable such as sex. Due to the fact that the bloggers of this blog are first year Rhodes students studying journalism, most of our blogs will be to help all you other suffering first years. For all you other suckers that are intending on joining the cane train through Grahamstown on a daily basis our blog will give you a little insight on what shit REALLY goes down at Rhodes. This blog will not be for viewers over the age of 30, so guys keep your ballies away from your computers when we have your undivided attention.

We do understand that there are the odd few of you who are generally sincere about coming to this absolutely awesome and free-spirited university based on academic purposes so we would like to be there for you guys in a way an older brother or sister would. We have survived our first nine months here so I am sure what we have to say will only help you to be at ease with the decisions you have or will make. This blog will at some point offend you or someone you know but keep in mind that what is posted on this blog is the truth and nothing but the truth.
So, my promise to you is many hours of laughter, rages and tears but most importantly a friend. Three students trying to make it big in this world and looking for a time and place to get our feeling and opinions off our chest and onto someone else’s shoulders just like you. Isn’t that what we are doing when we tell people our feelings? Anyways, if you have juicy gossip or love to hear juicy gossip this is the blog for you, after all the is what journalism is about right?

Be safe
